Dialectrix (Obese Records)
Dialectrix is a Blue Mountains based MC who has been perfecting his craft for the better part of the last decade. His first encounters in hip hop stemmed from back yard party ciphers to performing free style sets with his first crew Down Under Beats. "Hiphoperation", D.U.B Crew's debut LP was released in 2004 independently and the same year the crew won the Triple J unearthed competition (the first Australian hip hop group to do so) and received extensive radio play on Triple J and community stations nationwide. D.U.B spent another two years creating a second LP, Under Raps, which was released in 2006 and received critical acclaim and radio play.
2007 saw Dialectrix feature on the A side on Chasm’s Beyond the Beat Tape 12”, with the track "Don’t Let Your Guard Down" and lead to him featuring heavily on the 2008 released "Beyond the Beat Tape" LP as well as appearing on the Two Toes album, "Cooking with Caustic". Dialectrix also performed live with Chasm following the release and toured extensively across the nation as a featured artist on the Obese Block Party 5 Tour, as well as performing live with Two Toes.
In late 2008 Dialectrix released his first solo album “Cycles of Survival”, released on Obese Records. The album received rave reviews across various street press, magazines, radio stations, and by various industry tastemakers. The first single "Outcast" has received extensive radio and video play accross the country, including high rotation on Triple J. Dialectrix has shared the stage with the likes of De La Soul, Lord Finease, Dj Revolution, Dj Crush, Roc Raider, Q Unique, Murs, Ztrip, Swollen Members, J5 DJ Format, Brain Tax, Mystro, The Jungle Brothers, and Foreign Beggars. He has collaborated with some of the most respected artists in Australia including Pegz, Ozi Batla, The Tongue, El Gusto (Hermitude), Thundamentals, Scott Burns, Lotek, 13th Son and more.

Axiom
Axiom is Kay Illa and Bom. Kay Illa is in front of the mic and Bom is behind the decks and production boards. The Axiom partnership was forged in 2004 while Kay and Bom were still in school on the North Coast of NSW. Aus. Hip Hop was only just beginning to creep into the local music scene at the time and classic releases like Brad Strut’s The Authentic were big influences on the early Axiom sound and subject matter. By 2005, the members of Axiom were pushing their music on opposite ends of the East coast of Australia. The distance between Kay in Brisbane and Bom in Sydney didn’t break up the group. By the time the crew had regrouped in Sydney’s Inner West, Kay Illa and Bom already had hours of DJ gigs and open mics events behind them in both States. In late 2008, Axiom released their Home Brew mixtape Featuring Scott Burns, Rinse (Bingethinkers), LouLou (Gabi & LouLou) with guest cuts from DJ Mez. In 2010, Axiom released DIGI 12 INCH 01 and DIGI 12 INCH 02 each featured two new tracks with accompanying instrumentals and acapella’s. The DIGI 12 INCHES are free to download at the link below.

Kade & The Karneez
Live hip hop act 'Kade & The Karneez' involves one of Sydney's most perceptive and provoking lyricists 'Kade MC' alongside his 4-piece band 'The Karneez,' which involves an adept drummer, guitarist, bassist and keys player/vocalist. The band's music ranges from soul to funk, to hard hitting boom-bat driven by the mastery of a lyrical mad man. During their short time as a collective, the band has already recorded a pre-album demo of several captivating songs to be mastered and featured on Kade's diverse upcoming album 'The Ruckman Record,' sure to blow minds and be a mammoth achievement in the hip hop scene, and music scene in general.
