The Tongue (Elefant Traks):

The Tongue lives life following a simple motto: "go hard or go home"....and he ain't ever at home. In 2005 you would have found him tearing opponents to shreds in various competitions around Australia - he is the only MC from NSW to win the Revolver MC battle - and also represented his country at the Battle4Supremecy MC championship in 2005. 2006 saw The Tongue sign with independent Sydney hip hop label Elefant Traks - and the subsequent release of his "Bad Education" EP. By 2007 The Tongue was becoming a true force within the scene, and after a year of playing shows with artists such as The Herd and De La Soul, he was ready to release his debut album "Shock And Awe". In 2008 it only got crazier, racking up an impressive list of guest collaborations (appearing on releases with everyone from Urthboy to Katalyst to Bias B) Tongue earned himself a spot at both The Big Day Out and Good Vibrations festivals.In keeping with his upwards momentum 2009 will see the release of The Tongues second full length album through Elefant Traks.
